The 940 GLE accessory cup holder / armrest replaces the lid on the 700/940 centre front storage bin.
There are two types -
the one which has the pull-out tray for the cup holders that puts drinks in single file with little 'swings' for bases ; orthe later 960 96+ / S90/V90 type which has the front cup holders spring out left and right for the front, and flip the lower lid for the rear cup holders. The front cup holders on these aren't as robust as the earlier types, but have the advantage of a 'hidden' small compartment for coins, etc.
I have the early type in the 780 and the 945T, and the later type in the 965... well, actually, I have to replace the broken one in the 965 with the brand new replacement I got from GCP a little while ago, which will be done when I install the Yatour.
This is the new type.
The (fragile) front cup holders spring out left and right.
The rear seat cup holders are in the top lid.
However, there's also a middle lid, which provides access to the centre console storage box.
This was delivered as a complete storage box and cup holder armrest, rather than just the armrest / cup holder lid.
