240 FAG clutch master rod

Hey guys just trying my luck.

does anyone have an old FAG clutch master laying around?

mine has all new seals and is great but I'm missing the Rod.

hoping someone has a used unit I could grab to make this one work, would hate to have to buy a whole new master when this one is perfectly fine.

I have another master I was hoping I could salvage the rod from but they are diffrent brands and use a diffrent rod

yeah I think that's from the diffrent one, I have another master that has a fork like that.

it's a shame the FAG one I have is in great condition and has all new seals, I might put a seal kit thru my other master and see if it comes good it's currently seized so it will take some loving.

oh actually you might have something I need haha

would you have the little bracket the master hard line and slave rubber line join in?

I need to have a look at my stash of bits. I know I have at least one of those clutch hard line to flex hose brackets, but I need one for my turbo/manual conversion in the gold 91 wagon. Leave it with me and I'll have a look and let you know if I have a spare. IIRC you may be able to buy a new one, but of course that's only practical if you're doing a GCP or Skandix order.

I don't, I can just tell it's diffrent from the other style one I have, the FAG master has a bigger bore and the Rod goes further into it then the other style, so I could use the other rod but it would be substantially shorter.

if I knew what the original rod length was I could make something up that works I suppose
