I still don’t have fuel economy figures, because I disconnected the battery to fit a BT head unit and lost track of how many kilometres it had travelled since filling the fuel tank… ?

If my memory of the trip meter is correct, then the economy isn’t as good as I hoped … but I am not panicking yet.
I am quite enjoying driving it. It goes fine - keeps up with traffic without flogging it - and isn’t tragic if you drop it back a couple of gears. I think that the 1.8 gearbox actually makes it faster because the gaps between the gears are smaller and it can pull the next gear more easily.
Pretty sure that it is faster than the old blue rally car.
The lack of power steering is only an issue on medium speed corners. It loads up and the physical effort required makes it a bit wooden. Would probably be unhappy if it was any sort of go-fast car, but it is entirely tolerable as a commuter.
You notice the effort in car parks, but never to the point that I would describe it as uncomfortable. On the open road, it steers nicely.
Brakes are stupidly good for what it is. I have driven about 700km so far, and I still haven’t worn the rust off all of the rotors.

So yeah, happy with it but not ecstatic.
