Hey guys just wondering if a manual swap would provide more torque for towing. We use the car as a general hack and a towing car for the camper trailer.

I fine the car tows great on the flats/freeways etc but when it comes to hills she struggles.

The car is in good condition with no issues exept for the old environmently friendly glue on the door cards and head lining.

Any advice would be great.

Cheers Gav

Finding an AWD manual gearbox could be the thing but certainly would unleash a lot of power the auto saps, have you tuned it and got a better turbo downpipe etc too?

Aye Les that's what I was thinking. Wonder if mark would have some available.

Dont want to loose the AWD as it works great on the bush tracks keeping the front inline. We have talked about getting a 4x4 but the wife love the car and would like to keep it and drive it into the ground

Give him a bell , surely someone has it , always the M66 6spd but pretty rare too I imagine.

@Ex850R oooh a 6 speed that would be nice, but a 5 speed would suffice
