NSW Front calipers pair, 84 240 Non vented

Hi guys, long time reader, even though my first post!

Looking for a pair of front calipers in good condition to suit and84 240 with non vented rotors in order to save my car from the wreckers before rego is due on the 12th.

Hoping someone can help, otherwise might see another 240 in the for sale as parts thread!

The right caliper is leaking, so thought I should replace both...

may end up posting the whole thing for sale, but it’s hard to get rid of a car I’ve grown up with for so long!

I had a look into that, wasn't sure about the different bearing or spindle sizes and how it would impact the car in its current condition.

If you did that you'd just swap over the whole strut assembly as-is assuming the donor car had okay suspension.

There are a set of calipers, rotors and pads that came off a running car a few months ago at Voldat in Moorabbin. They are all near new and were in great shape when I drove the car into the workshop.

$200 pick up at Moorabbin.

$250 I can deliver to much of Melbourne.

I have a vehicle wrecking with non vented rotors I'm happy to sell. Right side is known good as it's temporarily being run on another vehicle in my paddock, left side unknown as it has sat for several years. The above offer of a set is probably the go tho since they are boxed and ready.

Can't see why you would bother replacing the good one of it's still working.

As others have said though a rebuild is sensible if you can easily source the parts.

Thanks Anthony...I was just looking for the most time and cost effective way to get them done, and thought might as well replace both sets if a good pair comes along, which looks like it has!

rockauto.com in the US has remanufactured calipers for less than $200 a pair, but you'd have to wait a couple weeks to get them via FedEx. Total for the 2 listed below including FedEx shipping and all taxes is $174.88AUD...unfortunately they are shipped from separate warehouses (indicated by the little truck next to info being A on the left caliper and B on the right caliper) or the shipping would be even less.

Oops, just noticed I picked a left solid rotor caliper and a right vented rotor caliper...but the prices are about the same. Just be careful when picking parts if you do buy from RockAuto...make sure they're the correct ones for your car and not the part numbers in the image I posted above as the RH one is incorrect for solid rotor.
