For Sale – 1991 Volvo 240 GLE

$5000 (I've got it listed elsewhere for more but would take less knowing its someone from the forum)
I am selling my trusty 240, this car has been a fantastic daily driver for the past few years and would be a great addition to your garage. Selling unregistered as I am short on time but I doubt it would take much to get it on the road.
The car has had some suspension work done and rides incredibly smoothly but is also surprisingly sporty. It would make for a perfect daily driver or a great base to restore or build upon.
Pros
• Reliable and well maintained
• Recently serviced
• 4 brand new tyres
• DVS special springs and Bilstien B6 shocks in the front, king springs and Bilstien B4 shocks in the rear
• SuperPro polyurethane bushings for all suspension bushings except the panhard bar
• GLE model with electric windows, leather seats and aircon (needs regassing)
Cons
• Some bumps and scrapes as seen in the later photos
• Wear on the front seats as seen in the final photo
• The car needs to be in neutral to start (my mechanic tells me this is a simply fix but it doesn’t bother me so I never got around to having it fixed.
• Odometer stopped working a while back, reads 260,000 but is probably around 285,000
This is a regrettable sales as covid has made for some tough times, so I’d love to see the car go to a good home or enthusiast.
