You just changed the pump so you will have zero fuel pressure at rail, after your start attempts if fuel comes out the Schrader valve your pump is getting power.
Easy way to check inj pulse is with a known working w5w bulb, fold the metal contacts straight down and slide then into the female ev1 injector plug, crank the car and the bulb should flicker if its got injector pulse.
Can also spray a bit of aero start into it and see if it fires.
