I've got some D-jet fuel injection parts including injectors, cold start injectors, fuel rails & pressure regulators, throttle switch, MAP sensor, coolant temp sensors, fuel pumps, wiring, ECUs, injector distributor trigger contacts, etc. up for grabs. Many parts interchangeable with 1800E and 140s with D-jet. I haven't checked around on pricing. Happy to provide more details & pics if anyone is interested in specific bits. Happy to post. Update - I've tested the MAP sensor in my 1800ES. Works great. Based on eBay current prices (see below - note USD) I'd like $200AUD for the MAP sensor. For $300 package I will throw in temp sensors, idle air slide, fuel pressure sensor, cold start injector, throttle switch and some untested injectors. Postage extra but shouldn't be more than $20.

Do you have the early fuel pressure regulator that is located on the firewall, not in the middle of the fuel rail, and the thermal Time switch that goes in the front side of the head and has two spade terminal wire connectors of different sizes?

Good price on the map sensor .... But I already have half a dozen. Long live D-jet.

No, the fuel pressure reg I have is the one that's in the middle of the fuel rail. If the thermal time switch exists on 72 and 73 D-jet cars, yes, I should have 2 of them (one from each engine)...I haven't pulled all the bits off the engines yet.

Thanks Greg, it goes in the opening below the slide valve. If someone buys just the map sensor, I am keen of the second half of the kit.

I'm booked for Melbourne on December 5th. Let's see if travel is okay by then, and I should be able to keep regional.

OK. I have offered it to @ToomanyVolvos so he has first right of refusal. I'll see what all I have. I only have the one MAP sensor and fuel pressure regulator (as the 73 was converted to straight gas). May have duplicates of some of the other bits and pieces - for sure temp sensors, possibly cold start injector, throttle switch and idle air bypass valve. Will put you down for those if I have them. Sure hope your trip works out - I'd like to make some space in my shed LOL! :)

Thermal time switch (top); ECU coolant temp sensor (bottom). Haven't pulled the other two yet. Confirming I have 2 of each type.

OK, decided to put prices on the individual items as per below. Note most parts also suit 1800E/ES and 142E - I can provide part numbers for confirmation):

MAP Sensor good working condition: $200

Thermo time switch: $50 (not tested but I can test for potential buyer if need be)

Fuel pressure regulator (all 1800E/ES and 140E/164E with pressure regulator situated in centre of fuel rail only): $40 (tested OK at~30 psi with air pressure)

Trigger points: $30

Coolant temp sensor for ECU: $25 (tested in spec)

Intake air temp sensor for ECU: $20 (tested in spec)

Throttle switch: $45 (not tested but looks decent inside)

Idle air bypass valve (I think this is B30 specific due to the hose connection sizes - B20E/F had smaller hose ports): $50 (tested OK)

Cold start injector: $10 untested

Injectors: $10 untested

Fuel rail: $15 (B30 only)

Injector holders, bolts and washers: $5 per cylinder

I'm out at that price sorry Greg. They would be spares for spares in the end. Trying to get historic rego on my 73 144 and the D-jet is cranky, with my spares in Melbourne. The prices are very fair.

Talk to me - I'm negotiable on price. I think the thermo time switches are pretty hard to get, and possibly throttle switches and of course the MAP sensor.

On a side note, given that the throttle sensor is a pulse type to act like an accelerator pump/power valve, does anyone know what would bolt on to give a progressive throttle resistance like a later model FI setup? I know Commondore ones have a larger shaft, so don't fit.

Here's a few more pics of some of the parts. I tested the following:

Fuel pressure regulators - all around 30PSI with fine tuning through adjustment screw.

ECU temp sensors - within spec

Aux air bypass slide valves - begin to close further from current ambient temp of approx 15C when heat applied to bulbs

Thermo time switches - need to determine which terminal is the one for the switch and which one for the heater (has a small and a large terminal - anyone know? Guess I could heat them up and see which one goes open circuit?)

I also have a heap of injector holders, bolts, retaining rings and some of the fibre washers.

One of the idle speed adjuster assemblies has the Pierburg A/C fast idle valve as pictured.

Cold start injectors:

Update 15Feb21 - I still have a few bits available. Also just pulled the complete D-jet loom/harness and ECU out of the 72 164E - pic below...given it took me a couple hours to get at it all, I'd like $100 for the complete loom, ECU, relays (plus a couple spare relays and end boots). Most of the rubber boots are intact, as are the connectors and all wiring. The ECU is Bosch 0210 001 009. Not 100% sure of the condition as the car sat for many years.

Hi Greg, this has been here a couple of years but I'm looking for some injection parts. Do you still have them? I need the thermo time switch, the temp sensor and a cold start injector. Some spares wouldn't hurt as well.

Michiel Hi Michiel. Here's a couple pics of what I still have left. Let me know what you'd like and we can go from there. Looks like one thermal time switch and at least one or two temp sensors but not sure whether they are air intake or coolant temp. Also at least one cold start injectors, idle air bypass valve, AC high-idle solenoid with plastic T-manifold, multiple injectors, injector holders, throttle switch, distributors, throttle bodies, fuel pressure regulators, etc.

If the rocker shafts don't turn up here I'm pretty sure I have a couple in my engine parts bucket. I would need to disassemble to check wear. I also have two engines but am reluctant to separate parts just yet. But maybe.
