First up, is the cheap R171 SLK350 calipers arrived. They bolt straight onto the upright, and it looks like the matching 330mm SLK rotors will work perfectly.
The aftermarket wheels clear them too - none of my factory wheels have enough clearance behind the spokes.
The challenge is the entry point for the brake hoses.
Flipping the calipers to the other side of the car will avoid this problem, but points the bleed nipple downward, which is less than ideal…
Will also need custom hoses.
My current thinking is to cut down the caliper and use a banjo bolt on a custom hose. Need to think about this more.

I also test fitted the W124 320E brakes. Despite a lot of noise about fitment hassles, they seem to fit under all of the factory alloy wheels I have. 294mm rotors is big for 15s, especially considering that the calipers are bulky, but they fit nicely.
