My (new to me) 2007 2.5T with 141,000 km shakes quite noticeably when accelerating slightly uphill between 90 and 100 kph. Once I've crested the incline, and back off the accelerator going down the other side, it smooths out. (I ran out to Pick and Payless on the M7 earlier today).
A reputable Volvo mechanic in Moorebank suggested to me that it might be the CV joints (although the right drive shaft was replaced at the last service in March - why they didn't replace both is beyond me).
Then I stopped in at the dealer in Mosman and spoke to the service manager. He said "its not likely the CV joints as you would notice it going down (and off the accelerator) as well. Could be engine mounts. Could be transmission issues. Could be wheel alignment."
Has anybody come across this before and what would be your suggestion for the first thing I might do to solve this riddle. Don't really want to go down the path of "try this, and if that doesn't do it, try this" Rinse and repeat.
