Ok any one help me out here the harness with the black arrow is the original S40 2.4 with the auto gsm plug that has nothing to plug in to any more but it's still connected to the cem the harness the pink arrow is pointing at is the T5 m66 harness 8ve pulled out the wrecked T5. Before I go through hell swapping these wiring harnesses does anyone know if I can bridge any of the wires in the 2.4 loom to close the inhibitor circuit and hopefully get the car to start

We've said this before, you need to swap every electrical module and harness from the other car. If you keep trying to use bits of the old 2.4 you will be forever having issues

Ok I'm going out to put the T5 dash harness in now then fingers crossed the back harness won't need to be changed because the fuel pump is working still I've got tail lights aswell

Ok after letting it sit due to lack of time to work on it I've finally succomed to the fact that like everyone said before every single strand of 2.4 wire has been removed and swapped with every single wire from the T5 I'm almost done all that remains is to put the dash back together the n the interior. I even had to do a number on the headlights as the 2.4 was halogen b up lbs and the T5 are bi xenon with self leveling so I had to pull The bastards apart and convert them as the T5 headlight assemblies where damaged I also had to make up new harnesses for both headlights as both sets where basically all bared wires . So every single wire lol daunting prospect but a absolutely piece of piss job the only drama I have is the coaxial cable that is in the amp plug harness well is attached to a black and a white wire from there I can't for the life of me remember where it all went there's 5 coloured plugs a square grey female single pin plug then 2 round blue ugs and 2 redish round plugs none of which are atched so any advice as to where this cable runs
