Blue164 The 75, 244 at mum's has to go to the crusher, anything worth keeping i can use on my early 164? Starter fits, can the wiper motor be fitted? (stock one is the pits), anything else worth salvaging? PeterN 70' 164.
Spac I you had a late (73/74) 1-series, a lot more stuff would interchange - but your car being an early one, not much is the same. I'm after a 240 M40 if the 244 happens to be a manual one.
carnut1100 Lots of goodies on early 240s that are getting harder to find such as early round light fronts and early tail lights and trims etc.
Ex850R What's happened with this? Am keen to see what bits are worth , I have 245 '78 wagon that could be parted...
Blue164 Going there today will get some pictures just want to get any bits that might be of use to me and then the car goes to the crusher. Trouble of being in the country distance and freight is the killer. If people want stuff they can have it for postage costs. PeterN
jamesinc Wait what am I saying, I just bought an entire parts car, it probably has one already... sorry
Blue164 I might pull all the relays out and throw them in a box, i have a brand new chrome mirror, small bits postage only if you want anything, rear lenses are cracked, front ones are ok i think, the round headlight square hole trim is there. The motor had only done less than 40,000km's since a full rebuild, before it was parked, had a new windscreen and tyres at the time, (10yrs ago) I just don't have any 2series cars to warrant keeping it. :(
carnut1100 Cracked or not those rear lights are better than the ones on mine!!! Need a spare set of early front corner lights too... And my round light surrounds on my DL are cracked.... Does it have black window winders and interior door handles and surrounds?
deleted_user_111 Interested in the door trim mouldings if they're still there, the thin chrome style, and not beat up? Trying to source replacements for my 1975 244
