I find most drivers of late model volvo are not interested in any other volvo driver and not enthusiastic about the car as an old enthusiast who has come up the ranks from old boxes to modern ovlov......

You could be right! I grew up with Volvo over 3 decades, from a 244GL, 740, 850 then s80. I thoroughly appreciate the brand as I was there through the growth of Volvo. My father made an informed decision that Volvo was safest for his family - and I will make the same decision for mine.
