WTB pump for a 1975 244 Volvo

Does anyone in Sydney have a fuel pump to suit my 244DL F I auto ?

Please let me know asap - I need to find one by early Saturday morning. I will pick it up COD.

Still running the early original style that attaches next to the fuel tank just behind the passengers wheel? From what I gather they are no longer available new and unlikely to find second hand.

If someone has for example updated it to the newer setup with the pump under the middle of the car getting a pump should be easy.

I have bought new pumps for my 244 and 144 on ebay but the 244 pump has failed after less than 50kms - both vehicles are now sold but I want to get it going so its new owner is not further inconvenienced. A second hand pump could be replaced later when a new one is sourced. Tiny

The new type of 5 Bar K-Jet pump is the Bosch 0 580 254 909 - the old type (Volvo 460821-2 / Bosch 0 580 254 996) is extinct.

As @VolvoHordz said, using the new one as a replacement is straightforward if it's had a previous pump change. If not and the original pump is in there (i.e. the pump with the outlet from the side of the pump body) some mods will be needed to get the new one to fit.
