Extra bung in downpipe on awd p80

Just curious if anyone can answer this. Took off my heatshield from over my turbo and noticed I have what looks like an extra bung on what is a stock downpipe (or at least I thought it was). I still have the other two o2 sensors after this point. Or am I absolutely cooking it ?

Also while I'm here, If there is a spare 3 inch angle flange downpipe for a 1998 v70r, I'll happily take it off your hands.

That's the egr port that was used on some models

I think I still have the first 2 feet of a factory angled flange dp

Did you also need a housing?

True I forgot about egr. That makes sense. I thought egr went out in 96. it's odd for an awd.... Weird

With the downpipe I was more looking for fabbed larger one and am in absolutely no rush ? Stock is still a bit constricting from what I've heard?

I have a straight housing only. I don't need it yet but am slowly procuring parts so I can possibly swap turbo, manifold, downpipe all at once.

I could possibly be convinced to do a run of 3" stainless angle flange downpipes if there's a few people interested

I'd be keen but I would think there'd be very few awd ones desired though.

Yeah I have previously made them for my old 850 and v70xc. I can make mild steel ones myself but have to get a mate to weld stainless.

It's not a complicated shape once you remove the large bracket/ shield from the steering rack you basically just need a 90, a 45 and the turbo flange to get you down to the firewall.
