Weirdest ad ever but worth a shot!
My story - I have an XC90 V8 2006 (MY2007) ~190kms - pretty good car all round, some issues needing attention but more major issues from previous owners already sorted with $$$ spent. Loved the V8 and planned to keep much longer but stupid TransportSA loophole means daughter cannot drive it on P's (but she could if it was 2010 model or later).
So, what I want to do is get into a D5 model which she can drive. Have looked at XC60 but still keen on the 7 seats, and wider room in the back even if it is only 50-100mm or whatever, it was noticeable jamming 3 teenagers across the back.
I also have a 2000 S40 T4 ~260kms in OK/average cosmetic condition but drives pretty nicely (boost! woo!)
I would ballpark the XC90 at $9-10k and the S40 at $1-$2k but would be open to looking at cash your way for a later model/lower kms XC90 D5.
So, does anyone have an XC90 D5 they would be interested in turning into a V8 with maybe an extra little fun squirter thrown in, and maybe even some cash on top?
Obviously will need many more details to be provided and negotiations and discussions, keeping it brief (?) to see if theres any interest or if im in lala land.
