The Boy and I finally made time to fit the new KYB struts & shocks that have been sitting in the boot for a couple of months.
That’s all boring and not photo worthy, beyond the usual moaning about the stupid brake hose routing, and the need to split the brake lines to get the strut out.
The interesting part is that the LHF strut was a big hassle to remove from the car?!
Turns out that the Venezuelan made front strut was about 105mm longer than it should be?!!
The other side was a match, and the same length as the KYBs, but this one was ridiculously long.
I can only assume that it was made wrongly, because it seems to be working correctly.
Car has rego wheels back on for the overdue rego inspection.
