  • Volvo estate AWD turbo manual MY 1996 WTB downpipe WTB

Does anyone have a downpipe to suit my turbo. It is fitted with a turbo V70 engine - I have assumed the downpipe is common to both engines. Please confirm condition, cost and postage. I am in Castle Hill 2154

Alternatively - if it proves difficult to source does welding my cracked downpipe pose any difficulty?

Regards all

Conical, flat or angled flange turbine housing? (if this is the engine I sold you I don't actualy remember which one it had on it....

I have multiple downpipes so if we know which one you need.... I has it...

The Downpipe is just mild steel so no reason it can't be welded.... this is possibly the best solution as its same labor to pull it out and weld it as to fit another one

even with a second hand one.... you may want to get it blasted and cleaned just to make sure it does not have a crack or thin spot either

Many thanks to the Volvo-sage! I will check which pipe I have and get back to you. The engine is excellent but the chap who installed it left a lot of issues - pity I did not insist on a timing belt renewal while it was out. I hope the downpipe crack explains why the turbo doesn't seem to contribute much urge.

I'm hoping replacing the front hubs will be the last big ticket item on this vehicle. I've had it about 3 years - it's time it did some work.
