Paul_Roodenrys Wanted a coolant temp sensor for a B230FT. It doesn't need to be working as it will be modified it to hold a Haltech Coolant temp sensor. :)
Samman88 I'd be inclined to calibrate the stock one in the Haltech, but if you're desperate to get rid of $50 for the Haltech sensor, get the m12x1.5 and thread it straight in?
Paul_Roodenrys The diameter of the hole in the head is considerably wider than the Haltech sensor diameter. It needs some kind of sleeve or adaptor to fit, hence my failed efforts to adapt the stock sensor.
timbo If the stock sensor is 12x1.5mm as @Samman88 mentioned then it's a pretty common reducer.Eg:https://www.sparesbox.com.au/part/aeroflow-af912-m12-02s-m12x1-5-pipe-reducer-to-female-1-8-npt-silver-af912-m12-02s?gclid=EAIaIQobChMInsXfu-yt6AIVihaPCh2GRgO4EAQYASABEgJMJPD_BwE
Samman88 There are two on the head, one for the dash and one for the LH ECU I believe. The LH ECU one is the one with the EV1 style connector and is M12x1.5. Good luck!
