Bell housing for 1975 200 series with M45/46 transmission and B20 engine. Part number 1220303.
Bell housing wanted
Unlikely you'll find one in Australia. No 240s were commercially imported into OZ with B20s AFAIK; they were all B21s from the dealers.
Try Turbobricks 'wanted' section - it's more international.
Thanks.
Also, manual 1975 240s had the M40/41* gearbox, rather than the M45/46.
I assume that you are looking for a way to join a M46 to a B18 or B20. There is no factory bellhousing to do this.
*Never actually seen a M41 behind an OHC Redblock, but I assume they existed somewhere in the world.
There is a factory bellhousing to join an M45/M46 to a B20 but they are very rare, they were used on 76 240Ls in europe, which had a B20 with M45.

I'm pretty sure the M41 was an option on 75 240s, the 75 owners manual shows pics of all the different shifters, the manual one has M40 and a M41 with a unique 75 OD gear knob.

Ayup. It's listed in the parts book, under the part number specified by the OP.
'75 model year in North America had the B20 in combination with the M45/46 as I understand it, literally opposite to our '75's with B21 and M40.
That is correct. I do not know if any North American '76 models had B20s.

The 75 240s in the US with the B20 had M40/41, not M45/6. We had a 75 245 with a B20 and M40...later fitted OD to it and it required the M41 (obviously).
Call Voldat, I think he had an aftermarket version of what you want. Tell him "Brendans old one", it may well do what you want.
I might have an after market one somewhere. I bought if from a bloke in Holland, I think, when I thought of using a M46 in the rally 144. Pretty sure it was a B20 bellhousing front half cut and welded to a M45/46 back half. PM if you’re interested and I’ll see if I can find it in the shed. Somewhere.
