ab1 After a pair or at the very least left hand black headlight covers that sit over the top of the back of the bulb housing. not sure what there name is
Angus242164 I would call them dust boots, I may have some but probably can't confirm for a couple of weeks.
ab1 yeah no stress not a major rush just dont like sucking in hot air from engine bay into the intake
Angus242164 Ah the curved black plastic pieces? I don't have any of those spare I don't think, they always break.
carnut222 Maybe give Heino Nowatzky @volstretch a call as I think he has wrecked at least one 164...or try @iceton1975
OldnDecrepit I'd be interested in a pair if you make some. Maybe something a little more durable - stainless steel, fibreglass etc.
1971_144GL I had a look on my car and they are present and intact. They look like a good candidate for easy copying in fiberglass. A silicon rubber mould would be easy if anyone wants to fund the silicone. After that the fiberglass is easy.
1971_144GL I have been copying a couple of items using Barns Pinkysil. It's about $80 for a small kit, and had a limited shelf life. It casts resin really well without shrinking or distortion. Worth it if a few people want a set, probably.
ab1 i wouldnt be using anything i make. im certainly no professional haha. my mate has a 3d printer which could make a good copy @Ghettobird
