760 AW71

Looking for an AW71 from a 760GLE, needs to include bellhousing and torque, ideally also some smaller parts like the dipstick tube and dipstick, mount bracket and flex plate.

Ideally in Melbourne or Ballarat area, would also consider one in Canberra or a complete 760 parts car.

The 262C will be staying 5sp manual, but I have another 260 I'm restoring and want to keep auto.

If not in a rush I may be swapping out a 260 auto in a month or two that was apparently 'rebuilt' with 20,000 km on it.

The guy I bought it off was a bit dodgy, though the gearbox seemed fine when I drove it ;-)

I am sure you know the gearbox in question here, if I go ahead with the swap i will let you know and you can have it back. Only limited driving so far, however it drove really well.

Oh, it is only a BW55, not a 71. Though should work fine if three gears are Ok with you.

I'm only after an AW71, last I looked I have 5 BW55s, I can probably remove one for you if you need one. what are you planning to change to?
