This happened a couple of weeks ago! Car is an absolute weapon now. I popped a rebuilt driveshaft in whilst I was under there. So smooth, feels like it just rolled out of the factory. Very happy. Will let LH 2.4 break the engine in at 12psi for a while before I look at aftermarket tuning options. The throttle response is unreal compared to my last engine. Didn't realise how far gone it actually was!
Super happy with the turbo setup. Broke the bank with some new do88 piping. The larger exhaust housing td05 combined with VX3 cam and slightly higher comp is a perfect combo imo. Boost is really linear in lower revs but if you plant your foot and kickdown it's almost insta spool, full boost around 3500 rpm. I might adjust cam timing slightly just to get the most out of the powerband as it still likes to pull hard up top beyond the auto's shift range.
Only slight problem I have now is an idle issue. Code 1-3-3. Not sure if it's a faulty tps or idle valve but the idle likes to occasionally hunt back and forth, almost stall when slowing to a stop or rev high after some spirited driving... Annoying, but shouldn't be too hard to solve.
