I am reluctantly listing my C70 for sale,
This is arguably the best 1st gen C70 in the country. I have spent lots of money and time over the past 5 years getting it to this point, unfortunately it is time to move it on to continue with other projects. The C70 is the only coupe available from Volvo since the 1800 ceased production in the 70s, they are getting to be a rare vehicle in good shape, particularly the more desirable 98 models, these models are simpler, more reliable and easier to modify, the platform and most mechanicals are shared with the 850R, Rarer models such as the 850T-5R, 850R and V70R are getting hard to find and prices are soaring of late, making a C70 a smart option.
This car started life as a desirable 1998 C70 T5 coupe, in 426 Mystic Silver Metallic with Dark Grey Leather/Alcantara interior. Fitted with Volvos spectacular 5 cylinder B5234T3 High pressure turbo (T5) engine. This was Volvo's premium sports car at the time and as such is fitted with all the options you would expect such as full electrics, sunroof, multi speaker stereo, cruise control, trip computer etc. This car was in excess of $100k when new.
It was a factory auto FWD vehicle but has since been fitted with an M58 5 speed manual transmission and All Wheel Drive system as found in the Volvo V70R, there were no factory AWD C70's produced.

The car is in fantastic condition, it has had some paintwork done due to clearcoat peeling and rectification of some minor hail damage, no evidence of accident damage anywhere.
This car has picked up several best modified trophies and has barely travelled 10 000km over the past 5 years.
If you would prefer, the suspension can easily be returned to standard height by fitting standard V70R springs, this, along with a set of Comet wheels would make this legitimately the C70R Volvo unfortunately never produced. Everything else is there already.
Will be sold with a SC and QLD registration, happy to assist buyer with transport etc if required. Personalised plates will be removed before sale.
