jamesinc Basically I want all the parts to put LH-2.4 in an older 240 and make it look factory. I don't need the computers themselves, but I do need the engine harness, the sub-harness that goes from the ECU over to the passenger firewall, I need the passenger-side firewall plate (the black metal bit), and I need the ECU bracket and the ECU kickpanel cover from the driver's footwell. I know it's some effort to remove these parts, so happy to pay for the effort or if you're in Sydney happy to come and remove them myself if you have a parts car.
Angus242164 If the bracket, firewall panel and kick panel are the same as LH2.2 cars I might be able to help. Note that the shape of the firewall plates changed in '78 so you might need to modify your existing one as required.
jamesinc @Angus242164 if I can separate the EZK bracket I can spot weld it to the existing panel. Pass-through for the loom isn't an issue, I have a hole saw the correct size for the LH-2.4 harness grommet. I think the 2.2 bracket is different
Angus242164 I didn't realise the EZK bracket was attached to the firewall panel, that might be your best bet if you can weld or rivet the bracket to your existing panel.
jamesinc Rob;c-162133 wroteI have the firewall plate, bracket and kick panel cover, do not have the harnesses. @Rob I'll buy if you're selling, I can build the harness myself in a pinch.
Rob I have a damaged engine harness too if that helps. Might be able to provide some plugs and the like?
jamesinc I have a harness, but it's from a LHD 240, so it doesn't put the ECU on a sub-harness, but that doesn't honestly phase me I'll just cut the ECU wiring off and add an extension sub-harness so I can relocate it to the driver's footwell. Currently I just have everything stuffed above the glove box, which sucks.
