Stereo is done. I forgot to get more pics, I was in the zone all day just hammering it all out. All doors are now complete too. The parcel shelf is two sheets of 12mm MDF glued together. The speakers look kind of wonky in that bottom photo but I assure you they are dead on ? no modifications to the factory parcel shelf were necessary. It's fastened from the underside. I'll probably paint the exposed bit of the body behind the parcel shelf, satin black.
The stereo slaps but I think a subwoofer is somewhere in my future ?
In terms of what's left, I need to wash the carpets still, do sound deadening in the front footwells, and do all the exterior trims. I finally. Bought a polishing wheel attachment for my bench grinder, so I'll see if I can't get everything looking fresh.
