Ok. Made my pvc end cap and charged my intake to about 20psi. No leaks.
One of my injectors is highly suspect. Disconnecting the connector to the injector on cylinder 3 has little to no effect to the lumpy idle but did change the way it revved up from idle. All other injectors when I disconnect the connector causes a significant increase in 'lumpy-ness'. I put a node light on each connector to see if there were any electrical disturbances and they all check out fine.
To conclude: one injector is suspect. It may not be the reason I'm running rich but it could well be the reason for my rough idle.

@240 said I could use his maf to test. My maf is pretty old and was calibrated in 2006. It may be wise to get a new maf anyway, and if It changes nothing then at least ill have a spare to troubleshoot with in the future...
