Few delays here. The 940 doner should arrive this week after a few issues getting it picked up.
The plan is still to swap the turbo components over onto the FX motor. Ive picked up the 850r injectors, electronic boost controller and have also been offered a alloy intercooler which I will be acquiring.
Fingers crossed its smooth sailing. We will fit the aw71l box and it time and resources permit also attempt the accumulator mod.
The car is also getting fresh discs, pads, wheel bearings, front and rear lights, indicators and window scrapers. It should look as news as can be. Stealth all the way.
It currently has standard suspension with the addition of the the GLT wagon sway bars which I fitted from a car out of the US. I really enjoy the way it handles now. It just needs new tyres. What is a good comfort/performance tyre you guys like?
Do I need to swap inlet manifolds and throttle body?
Just another thanks to the community for all the assistance and wealth of knowledge.
Looking forward to the results of the conversion. I will try and book in a dyno run once complete to see how its fueling and what the power curve looks like.

Ok great. Things seem to be getting easier the more research I do!
Ive used re003 before on the 205 Gti and they were great. I like that they have a stiffer sidewall compared to a PS3 etc.

Make sure the kickdown/throttle cable bracket on intake manifold matches. If not you might have to swap that over. Also make sure the kickdown cable is equal length to the one you're swapping in. I've had trouble with this in the past swapping in an AW70. I think they differ in length between some years and series.
