UNWANTED M47 BOX

I Have myself an M47 currently with no second gear, and I'd like to have another M47 that's unwanted because of a problem other than 2nd gear, and in the process learn how to rebuild the gearbox (hopefully).

May be worth looking at a parts diagram for the m47 v's m46 v's m45. A lot of parts are interchangeable so depending on what exactly is wrong with yours there could be some more options around the parts source.

I have a very cheap M45 sans bellhousing available in Vic.

I got an m47 box. Just the box only. $200. It’s fairly small so might be reasonable freight from 4285 I’d guess 20kg 60cmx30cm
