Hi guys and gals, fairly fresh into Volvo ownership. I've dipped into a few different brands over the years and around August last year, my partner and I bought an '05 XC70 which was by far the best bang for buck, all rounder I've ever come across. That led me to look into what other Volvo creations are out there and thats how I found out about the S80. I wanted a P3, in Oyster Grey (otherwise I would have it wrapped), V8 and beige interior. Funnily enough there were two when i was looking. One at 60k km with the nav unit as pretty much the only option, and one at 160 k km with a list of options. Of course I went for more options. Cooled seats, woodgrain steering wheel and shifter, sunroof, premium sound without the dicky GPS, active suspension and a rear blind (is this an option?). A plane trip to QLD and a drive back to VIC and she's all mine. Only issues that I've found so far is the rear left speaker is blown and the passengers mirror folds in 50% of the time. The plasti dip everywhere wasn't doing it for me so that is all completely gone. Plans are to keep it as Volvo intended but with a few tasteful OEM upgrades like later tail lights, the later instrument cluster (I've been following the guys doing this and they're very close to figuring it all out), thinking of removing the aftermarket DRL kit and fitting the XC70 OEM DRL's, refit a Volvo badge to the rear as it has been debadged and fit the android/apple carplay unit.
