Close, I have an SC-811.
With code and working.
It was originally destined for my 940 NA wagon until I discovered that the unit won't fit - the mounting angle and depth whacks the bulb sensor relay and other stuff. :(
This regrettable circumstance caused much gnashing of teeth; the pot-less crap they sell for car audio these days makes it a dangerous chore to do anything except adjust the volume. Push once for this / twice for that?? Pffft and grrrr. I
far prefer having separate potentiometers for adjusting bass, treble, balance
and volume. This one has lots of pots, which is why I like it.
This won't fit easily in a 140, 240, 1800, a 780, or a 940... and the S80 V8 already has a kickass factory sound system,
with two knobs, so I can't fit it to any of my cars unfortunately.
$50 + postage if you want it - please PM me if so.
BTW and JFTR and stuff, the size of these Volvo SC-8xx things is
not double DIN - it's a little bit bigger by about 12 mm or so. If you get a very rare 780 radio box (with two single DIN openings) and cut the middle shelf out, one of these things will fit in the hole, but you still run into problems with the rear of the unit hitting the fuse / relay box if you try to mount the thing in a 740 or 940.
