Rob I have spoken to the guy about it. He bought it converted. RADAR: http://ozvolvo.org/discussion/490/carsales-big-4wd-240-wagon#top BTW, yuk.
deleted_user_160 cheers. each to their own. i guess. my brother is interested. curiosity more than anything. hes a 4x4 nut. building big trucks to tackle big rocks.
Rob I would be only to happy to own a big high riding capable 4wd 240 wagon. I just dont know that a scout would be the base I would choose. It would still run, drive and stop like a 60s designed 4wd.... I jut think for $14,500 you could build one on something alot more modern and capable.
A_Volvo_Driver egads;18029 wroteKeep an eye out for c303's, amazing Volvo beast of an of road thingy. At first I only saw "c30's" lol
egads (she/her) They bought a bunch for the Snowy scheme and the army got 10 fish for evaluation so they come up occasionally. B30 powered makes for easy working on and the portal axles make for crazy extension and rock magic.
AshDVS There is a C303 used as a Red Bull promo vehicle that you occasionally see in pics or at events. I saw it (or one of a number of them?) when we went to Sydney to watch the X Fighters in 2011 or 2012.
