Ex850R
Welcome.
The problem is the awd. You need an AWD box to have the takeoff for the angle gear that runs the rear driveshaft.
Best bet is finding an AWD manual box, try Berry motor group or sourcing an M66 awd box off an AWD P1 platform car which in itself is not easy either.
With a bit of modification the auto performs very well and is better suited to the car for the twisty stuff, the manual gearing is just annoying making a fun drive a disappointment. I had more fun in my overboosted v70t5 auto than I ever did in my 855R manual. My v70r was auto but down on power, the motor not so healthy but also the awd system drags a lot of power out. Good to drive in the wet where a fwd goes nowhere but slow in comparison to my earlier v70t5.
To sum up, think of the power loss of awd, the gear ratios in the manuals that are all wrong (well, 1st to 2nd,twisty corner ruined everytime...) having the v70r as fwd only using easier to find fwd manual or chase up a 2003? Onwards v70r. Or better yet, a 2010 onwards v60t6, man it's a fantastic drive!
