Rob
@raebird :D .... you had better do a bit of a showroom thing on that 360.. I'd be interested.
CamZH
$60 ?
That's more than I've been offered for my 850 !
Any idea on what it'd cost to get them to Sydney Les ?
Ex850R
I can check , maybe Robs would be easier , he is travelling toward you in the near future , the Bruce Delivery service can do the rest of the way? I just had a pickup from me going north to Rob! Pity we didn't know sooner!
CamZH
I'm in no great rush, and I'm sure that it wont make any difference to the price I'd get for my 850
Raebird
@rob I will be doing a bit of a showroom thing on my 360 in the coming days.
Rob
I now have an 850 minus a manual conversion. It is a roller. If there is anything you want let me know before it goes to the local scrappy.
All i have yet to remove are the Drive shafts.
I don't want anything for parts as such, so long as I cover freight/postage and my time to remove anything you might want.
you have about a week.
Ex850R
Rob , i think if the steering wheel is in good nick save it , they are a much nicer wheel than the SVC70 ones and may be swappable , i am considering this for mine.
The inlet mani is an upgrade if you are going for some power with a 960 throttle body.So maybe keep that?
The coolant tank looks newish , worth keeping and maybe the dipstick as they have a habit of the plastic handle coming off.
Rob
Thanks for the advice. will keep all that stuff. I thought the manifold of choice was the 20v NA one?
Will also keep the wheels. Tyres are good.
Ex850R
Ahhh , not sure if Mani is different from 10/20V , could be. Mine is 20V so I am keeping motor. Things like the relays , the red and grey block ones could be useful. The plastic wheel liners for when you roll the guards with your roller ( haven't done it yet... ) and then extend the liner with the spare......
Oil fill cap , make it twin fill just like BTCC cars! It will go faster!
How good are the discs? Worth pulling?
Rob
rotors are knackered.
K3FSAR
@Ex850R I could possibly help with the rotors. Have some with a slight lip I swapped out for the T2s. Machine them and right to go?
@Rob - The clip bit on the broken dash bit with the arm rest bit... Broken or not? I need to fix mine I was just going to plastic weld in another bit. Arm rest too, is that solid? (Not broken in the middle)
Rob
oh, that bit. 8-} might have to give me a little more info. :)
I will check the arm rest out.
K3FSAR
You know. The bit. The doover. The thing....
In the interior pic, the smashed centre console leading up to the arm rest box. The part that the arm rest clips onto....
Oh. And dash surrounds. All the surrounds!
Ex850R
What are the surrounds ?
K3FSAR
The bits around the radio, instrument cluster etc. Wanting to do a piano black to replace the Swedish veneer..... But I don't want to use them as a base :P I knew what I meant :P
Ex850R
I tried to remove em for rob , they are bonded onto the parts that make up the dash , i wrecked the dash trying to get em off.....see ebay for ones you glue on and work on them?
Rob
@K3FSAR Dan, even if I could get them out these ones are buggered..
arm rest looks good.
I think the thingo is ok too.
K3FSAR
Cool. I'll take both. Let me know how much.
Rob
24hrs left if you want anything. scrappy is coming.
Ex850R
Just thought , if you grabbed the oil filler cap and want to do a BTCC twin fill upgrade you will need the metal filler neck that goes into the cover to replace the bung. Should be easy enough or take off the can cover and keep it to do later.
