The 850R market here seems pretty fickle - wanted ads pop up occasionally but as you say, actual sales results who knows.

Sub $5k project cars seem to get passed around a bit until bought by someone willing to spend the typical $3-$5k to attend to the usual list of items.

Maybe the market is now favouring originality over mods and maybe that’s where the higher sale prices will be seen when more collectors and speculators move into the market.

Maybe some additional demand will be triggered by forthcoming historic registration eligibility, if not already?

$10-$12k seems reasonable to me, given the scarcity and the likely heightening demand for them.

A rough guide might be $5k to $7k less than an equivalent condition T-5R
