I looked that up too just to make sure I wasn't being a typical cheapass turbobricker type and expecting all N/A 940s to sell for sub-2k. I'd say people are getting on the 240 and 850R 'it's a classic!' bandwagon hoping that their cars are going to go for way more than they're worth.
Problem is if people start paying stupid prices, it'll push the market up. But hey, what do I know about markets and economics and that stuff.

[VIC] 740 Sedan at Jolly's wreckers
I'm not hugely surprised given that much like workshops, wreckers might be considered 'essential' in order for people to keep their cars running..
At least with Jollys, unlike other wreckers, they're generally pretty good at updating their systems when stuff is sold from a car, so you can check that page again before going and get an idea of what's been pulled from it already and if it's worth taking the trip down.

Looks pretty clean and complete for the price. Only thing I can spot is the drivers quarterpanel and maybe some fading clearcoat, but a turbo wagon for under 4K seems well priced if it's solid.

Edit: ok if I'm being really nitpicky there's trim stuff and badges that look wrong, but my original comment about the price still stands.
