Oz Volvo Nationals 2022 - Sawtell NSW
Just looking on LiveTraffic in advance of this weekend, and I can see some headaches for people:
QLDers:
1) The Southbound Pacific Highway is closed around Ballina (https://www.livetraffic.com/incident-details/117866)
2) The alternative route using highways (Bruxner to the Summerland Way) is also closed (https://www.livetraffic.com/incident-details/117891) and subsequently the Summerland Way is closed (https://www.livetraffic.com/incident-details/117946) There might be back roads you can link together to get across.
3) Coming down the New England Hwy, the only option open across to the coast is the Gwydir Hwy, and that looks touch and go (https://www.livetraffic.com/incident-details/117810)
Sydney/Victorians coming inland:
Coming from the south, it doesn't look as bad at the moment. If you're coming inland, then the routes from the New England Hwy across are the Oxley... and that's it....
Sydney/Victorians coming Coastal:
Seems to be all normal
Hope that helps everyone,
Ed

Just had a quick play on Google Maps for the Victorians; it looks like staying inland (Hume to Gundagai and then across to Dunedoo and then Tamworth and Armidale into Coffs) would add 45mins (bear in mind Waterfall from Armidale to Bellingen has a load of roadworks at the moment so that skews the displayed time) over going via Sydney - it might be worth the 45mins in case Sydney is in gridlock hell.
We've done Armidale to Melbourne in 15hrs including breaks for the humans and the dog - Coffs is 2.5hrs ish from us.
Also dodges all the Sydney Toll roads....

AuctionsPlus - 2x 760 GLEs, Avonmore VIC
There's been a few come up on AuctionsPlus recently (and here's the link that egads got excited about: https://auctionsplus.com.au/auctions/machinery/cowan-family-clearing-sale/leyland-moke/109995-003)
Just keep an eye on sites like this and other clearing sites, and you never know what will come up.
Geek fact: AuctionsPlus as an online auction platform can trace it's roots back to the 1980s as an early online livestock market....predating ebay as an auction site by a few years...

No direct advert for it, but it pops up every so often on the Armidale Buy, Swap and Sell Group

Spotted these 2 when looking through the AuctionsPlus clearance sales:

Descriptions are fantastically vague, but at a guess they'll go for scrap value....
Easy enough to register, and I'll try to remember to jump in to see what they go for.
