Yes its that time of year again. Please find attached the flyer for the Observation Drive being held on Sunday the 6th of May.
For those who have not joined us before, this is a very easy Observation Rally for anyone to do and a great day out. Stage One will begin at Sublime Point, (9.00 for coffee & chat, with Drivers briefing at 9.30 am, please note earlier start time as requested last year) We will then drive to our mystery lunch venue (club) then after a social meal & catch up, Stage Two will take you to the completion point.
This event is family friendly.
If you are thinking of joining us, please reply so we can organise catering and stationary.
Thanks & hopefully we will see you there.Stage 1 – then break for Lunch – Stage 2.
As most people have never done these events before, this drive will be very
easy to follow and complete. Don’t think it will be too difficult for you, we have
kept it easy and help is always available.
To enter you will need to bring, a Car- with full tank of fuel, Driver-with a
valid licence, Co-Driver/Navigator- to tell you where to go, (you may have
more passengers if you like, more eyes to help spot the answers) A clip board -
or something to write against, & 2 pens, (one may stop working )
You can just turn up on the Day, however it would be
appreciated if you could contact -
or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
to give us an idea on numbers for printing etc. If we
get enough we may increase the number of prizes
given out on the day.

- [FNH] Canberra Friday Night Hangs - 2017
[FNH] Canberra Friday Night Hangs - 2017Organizer: Paul0075 (@paul0075) Canberra, ACTEvent on (Created on )Hi Guys,
As mentioned elsewhere on this forum, the hangs in Canberra are moving to Fridays. This allows us to stay out later and hopefully interferes less with attendees work commitments.
I've spent a few hours researching some new venues, and a few favourites have made a return too. You'll also see some tenpin bowling nights too. I had hoped to include mini-golf too, but there's no night venues in Canberra from what I can tell, let alone any that serve food.
Whilst these events are a chance to Canberra region (including Yass, Queanbeyan and Goulburn) owners to get together and chat and make new friends, interstate and international Volvo owners are also welcome to attend when in town.
Below is a spreadsheet link for the next 12 months. I will update this thread fortnightly to promote each event. RSVP is usually 10 am on the day of the event, however, in some cases it may be earlier if you are interested in certain menu items, and this will be indicated on the event post.
