jrc I recently chaanged out all my crankcase breather system in my V70 20v- 253,000 km of accumulated gloop- made the car go like new! However i mistakenly bought a turbo breather hose assembly volvo part number 9471644 which i dont need; sells at FCP for US$47.20; i'd like to get AU$50 for it but i'm negotiable; im in Lindfield (Sydney N Shore) but i can post. 0476823294
jrc That part 9471644 looks like it would fit the 20V turbo engine in 850 and the early V70/s70/c70 cars eg around 1998/1999 but check individual fitment . The part is new, unused
242GT Hi John can you put up a photo please. I'm new to these east west engines and front wheel drive, us fossils grew up in rwd and manual gear boxes ?
jrc Ha - as an ex owner since 1977 of a 145, 164, 142, 245 & a 240 wagon that's just too funny. This double vacuum & vent hose wont fit any of them- nor a 242. Those vehicles have much simpler PCV systems, with single hosings on them- and i might add a sight easier to pull apart to clean out! Im not convinced east west FWD is the way to go. Ill have a go at a picture in a little while but if you google fcp 9471644 youll see exactly what it looks like.
jrc Heres a picture of the part as you can see from the photo i still have 2 non fossilised feet (NFS) and use them on my 3 pedal V70...
