On a B20, the alloy fitting that goes between the block and the engine mount is smaller on the left side i.e. the engine mount is closer to the block. Has anybody got the faintest idea why?

Hadn't really noticed the difference, but maybe it's to do with clearance for the power steering box mounting in 140 LHD apps.
Also, my 1800E's B20 doesn't have alloy engine mount brackets, btw; they are pressed steel.

Because the torque makes the donk push to the right, so the right has the weight of the donk plus the torque so it's stronger
