Front end control is the key to great 240 handling, and you want the rear to follow suit, not trying to go straight ahead with a mind of its own due to being too rigid. (Unless your towing).
If the rear end is feeling loose then the big control arm to diff bushes could be less than ideal.
As your machine is very low I presume you have adjustable torque rods and panhard so the diff is correctly positioned.
