BigTriangle What size press do I need to change 240 suspension bushes? I've got a load of urathane (rubber to come yet) bushes. I see supercheap are doing half price on their 6t shop press, so it's $150 ish. That's cheap, but is it too low a capacity?
Philia_Bear It's more the open space size than the power My 30t I've never had over 12t but just having a big open area to work with makes all the difference
BigTriangle There might be enough room to work in the supercheap one? https://supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-shop-press-h-frame---6000kg/214467.html
AshDVS Philia_Bear;c-145483 wroteThis is the one I have https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/P1475 That's quite nice. At home, I have a 20T one from Total Tools. This one - https://www.totaltools.com.au/116013-tti-20,000kg-hydraulic-floor-press-tti20thsp Quality is reasonable and I use it for bushes regularly. Cheaper than the 6T Supercheap option too.

jamesinc I was planning on buying this one in the next few months https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/P141 I'm tight on space so I appreciate anything that can sit on top of storage.
jlfents I bought a press for the same reason you are. At the time I found Bunnings had messed up their pricing for the Kincrome 6t/12t presses, and so bought the 12t for cheaper than the 6t - don't call me a scab. You won't run into any problems regarding mobility with what you are trying to do, I did all the bushes on my car easily.
BigTriangle @jlfents, looks like my inner bargain hunter is on the job (no name calling here). The SCA 6t press is half price with a free accessory kit thrown in so that looks like the go. * the accessory kit is $7 Better than half price, $144 pickup :)
