fazz164 Hi All, this is my first ever attempt at social media. Have enjoyed reading all your posts. I left my key in the access. position over the weekend, and drained the battery. The radio system is original to the car (1999 C70) but I don't have the owners manual that would"ve had the code. Help!
know1 It maybe printed on the radio itself if you can remove it from the dash, try the top of the head unit. Otherwise check your vin then plug it into here along with the relevant details http://volvo.custhelp.com/app/webforms/RadioCode
fazz164 Thanks for that. Tried sliding out the head unit. There was a 4 digit number, but it had a couple of 9's in it. I faffed around trying to input, but the "system" has now shut down. Also tried the above site, but it won't let me get past contact information. I think it's zip code is confused with our 4 digit post code. Thanks again.
Ex850R Give a dealer parts or service counter a call, they will help. Use VIN and Rego, I dropped in once for a v70 one. Then get a paint pen and write on top of unit. You get 3 tries iirc.. It resets.
fazz164 Called Masons today, where the C70 was originally sold. Service dept. was great, got the code, all works well! Thanks again.
