Is anyone familiar with this car?
A mate of mine yet to inspect it is somewhat interested but suspects a monumental amount of hidden rust.

We here are spoilt, people overseas would laugh at us baulking at what we call rusty cars.... go to Canada or somewhere else where they salt the roads, you would be amazed at how far they go to restore cars that have actual rust, not what Australians shy away from
Vee_Que
It's only because so many survive without the rust.

That is fricken awesome @ramrod I needed a good laugh after today. The song is brilliant even if I can't understand a word of it.

Holy crap, an Australian workshop would charge 30k plus for a Resto like that....
The other problem with rusty cars in Oz is once you spend the big $ fixing them you'll never see much of that money back if you sell.
The 242 I sold for 500 a while back wasn't too bad but rust and paint would have cost 15k in a professional shop, too much to spend on a tired car. This one looks better, but not by much.
Someone should start exporting 240's back to Europe since so many reasonable ones are being parted out.
