Major Ledfoot This stuff. You'll find it on 140s and pre-79 240s around the boot opening, among many other places on many other models. Can some kind soul please suggest a place in OZ which sells this stuff by the metre?
Major Ledfoot ^ Was hoping @tbro or @peterwgpa may be able to point the way, after having done full-scale refurbishments. Do local GM or Ford products use something similar? I don't have enough experience of them to know. If they do, we Volvo folks can do the same thing we do for Bailey channel rubber. * * Use a Holden product from http://www.betterautorubber.com.au - part number BR1012
Dave_S Universal engineering usually has a good selection - have a look here: https://uesint.com/product-category/rubber/pinchweld-and-seal/

Just had a look at the Clark Rubber website and found this, but assuming there is a store near you, just rock up and have a look at it as they usually have it on big rolls along with the weather strips and they sell it by the metre. https://www.clarkrubber.com.au/rubber/extrusions/pinchweld I never knew Bunnings sold something similar as per @Samman88 ‘s comment above. Might also be worth a try.
Major Ledfoot Thanks @Samman88 & @carnut222 - Bunnings is close to Residence One, however the nearest Clark Rubber is over in Hobart. (Might ask young Paul to check it out while he's there). Meanwhile I'll check out the Bunnings option and report back.
Major Ledfoot I checked out the Bunnings 'Goliath' branded stuff they stock - it's too big, but it's the same shape.

Only place I've found the genuine article is CVI, whee it is sold by the metre. https://www.cvi-automotive.se/en/articles/2.14816.49199/edge-protector-strip-sold-by-the-meter?q=679754 Skandix also sell it, however they're vague about what they are selling, not sure if they do fixed lengths or by the metre.
