Yeah, OK now I understand. So you've modified the original later-model system to get rid of the hidden mechanic-adjustable pressure switch that apparently exists on those cars. Another option for modifying the existing setup would be to incorporate a rheostat-controlled time relay that allows you to adjust the cycle time interval...kinda like an intermittent wiper relay, but obviously it would have to be on for say 2-5 minutes, then off for 2-5 minutes, with those intervals being adjustable. Wouldn't have the temperature-related component though, so it might not be as great! :)
