Hi all, Im currently doing a turbo motor swap into my '79 244.
I've taken all the wiring from my donor car ('89 245) and plugged it all in, the headlight and blinker connectors were different so I swapped them over, everything was working perfect, headlights turned on and off and the blinkers blunk at the proper speed. Was messing around with other things today and just tested them again, the blinkers went berserk just getting faster and faster like they were in a feedback loop. I found a couple of wires that weren't grounded, sorted them which stopped the rapid blinking but the flasher relay occasionally makes a weird buzzing noise and the hazards blink twice the speed of the indicators. For some reason my headlights are no longer working either.
What the feck have I done? everything was going swimmingly!
I should note I have no clue about any of this spark wrangling business, i'm in way over my head here.
