Brad I'll need to replace the front brake rotors on my 940 very soon. It has the Girling single piston, aka jumbo, brakes and the current rotors are ATE. Are ATE still of reasonable quality these days? Or is there something better quality? I already have the pads but can't think what brand they are off hand. The car is a daily driver but I live on a mountain with a long descent requiring regular braking. The ATE rotors have been fine for this. Thanks.
AlexS I tried getting DBA's a few month ago, appear the front Jumbo rotors are NLA. Ending up getting genuine as they weren't too expensive and I didn't have time to chase a quality set in the aftermarket.
AlexS Let me know if they are still available and they actually are DBA's rather than cheap knock offs. If they have the kangaroo paw vent's I'll grab a few sets, I go through them often enough. I know some of the online chains list everything out of a catalog even though some items are NLA.
