I would think so too.
Most parts I used over the years were part of the 850 series. Others from the early V70 series. But I do believe that there are part in it from the 1996 series as well.

Tried to get a different Dash from Jason @ suncoastvolvo.com but he unfortunately had nothing in stock to help that would fit .He helped with some spare part for testing but when he looked for a spare Dash No stock on Hand. :/ Jason advised me to go online and check out other options interstate. I notice that most Volvo Clubs have no info on the V70's series at all any longer. Why is that ? :joy: Therefore Parts of MY 21 year old V70_SE is a problem.
Jason has been a great help with the right spare parts and good advise over the years on the OLD sunshine - coast my one to go to Volvo workshop. Service are excellent if you need it with friendly staff . Recommend it any time for all Volvo repairs.
About myself and why i joined to find help and advise also to offer and give help if i can.
Having time on hand with limited money due to health-problems on DSP pension - finding parts for this model is very important for me - as it still looks great, drives great and it's a wagon. The number one priority in my life.My passion for fixing since 1979 (driver-licence) until today (wow 40 years) made it possible having a 98.9% reliable car I trust driving around into the sticks or any were else. My passion for cars also keep me fit and motivated in older age.
Is still a great car to drive had it for 7 years. (replacing 240 Volvo) will go for another couple of years with a little bit help if possible from the Volvo community with some advise or help in finding parts would be appreciated.
My services apply to the service book on regularly basic and above including everything repairable it faulty by me.
also spend work on some other tasks it did such as
1. Replaced head trimmings old to new.
2. Refurbished all 4 indoor- panel- doors.
3. Build in parking-sensor with rear camera into bumper bars and resprayed them .
4. Fixed and resprayed my car rims - my first test spray 4 years ago - they still look as new.
So yes, I would have liked to find an Replacement Dash if possible ........as I had taken the dash to sunshine coast instruments only to be told that he can't test it and if faulty he will not get parts to fix it . Same advise check interstate...
The car is in my the garage with the dash removed ...
