850 [solved] New Leads

edited February 28 in Troubleshooting 37 / 21joined Sep 2015
Recently had cracked lead replaced on 10v sedan. This is a stop gap measure as the smart thing would be to replace the entire set.I need suggestions as to what brand, approximate dollars and where to source. Thanks

Bougicord are a waste of money on a 10v
Rockauto.com and whatever is the cheapest is fine
Same part between a na 10v and a na 20v
I think you need to add i was in an s80 with three wheels getting pulled backwards and was told to "hold on shit is about to get real".

    If you do the leads
Do the cap and rotor as well, should only be an extra $15 or less
Plugs as well if you can find the Volvo blister pack for cheap

Finished today.Did leads, plugs and cap.Car goes really well. All parts were volvo.Rotor was in good nick so left alone. The car had problems arising from the fact that although it only had 87000k (hard to believe but genuine)some services had been neglected and it was left standing in less than ideal conditions. It has cleaned up to immaculate condition and I will attempt to get to next meeting to show her off.A mate suggested I leave the metal rotor surround out when replacing the cap.Apparently it can arc with rotor.Hope I have done the right thing.Again thanks Rod
